It is very clean and there were lots of small stones with fossils in, which gave it an extra interest. A beautiful quiet sandy beach, great for families. There is plenty of parking and then you walk over the small sand dunes to find fabulous views of the beach, sea and Benbulben mountain in the distance. It is a little out the way and there is a stretch of road the is single track. You will loved it because it is so quiet. This is a vast beach with so much space. Take the N 15 from Sligo toward Bundoran / Sligo. As you enter the village of Grange watch for a left turn signposted Streedagh. Follow this meandering road and it will take you to the car park.
